ARDA will be attending the 2018 International Social and Behavior Change Communication Summit in Indonesia. You might remember we attended the first one in Addis Ababa two years ago and ARDA will be even more visible at this one as we’ll be delivering 6 different presentations over the course of the Summit.
The SBCC Summit is one of the biggest opportunities for people in the entertainment education and social, development and behavior communication industry to meet, learn and interact with one another as well as other key stakeholders. There will be a wide range of panels, workshops, presentations and seminars as can be seen in the variety of presentations ARDA will be giving at the conference- oral presentations, poster presentations and a skills-building workshop.
We’ll be using our experiences in our various projects in the presentations, including our recently concluded TY Danjuma Foundation project- Community Health Matters. In addition we’ll be sharing some of our tried and trusted storytelling methodologies in a skills-building workshop.
“We are excited to show off our work in Mobile technology for community health in remote areas as well as community management of projects versus community participation,” Senior Programme Officer, Jite Phido, who will be one of the ARDA staff presenting at the conference said.
We’ve done a lot beyond Radio Drama, for instance, most people don’t even know we have an App. We can’t wait to show our sister organizations and other interested stakeholders what we’ve been up to recently and contribute to the SBCC knowledge base. It’s a great way to introduce ARDA to the world.
